Smooth

Since its foundation in 2016, Husstainability has worked closely with Lena Mauritzdotter, owner of Smooth. Lena is a huge resource for mainly coaching in my role as CEO, financial reporting of the company and strategic sounding board to run the business successfully. To find a more responsive and conversational person than Lena, I think, is close to impossible. I can warmly recommend her to help you as a leading person in businesses to gain greater self-awareness, to be able to run your business more easily and to turn problems into solutions. Read more about Lena at Smooth

Wavez – We Reduce CO2 At Sea AB

Wavez helps boat owners with climate investments in bio-based permanent storage of carbon in bedrock. The customer specifies how much fuel is used and how much carbon dioxide this combustion generates, and buys storage for exactly this amount through the company Creturner, which stores coal in old abandoned mine shafts. Leftover wood waste is converted through solar-powered pyrolysis into pure carbon and mixed with water. This is then transported deep into the bedrock where, in addition to being permanently stored, the carbon also acts as activated carbon and cleans any contamination in the mine. Erik also acts as a scientific adviser to Waves.

Bolin Centre for Climate Research

Husstainability has been collaborating with the Bolin Centre for Climate Research, at Stockholm University, for a couple of years. The centre's focus is on increasing knowledge about the earth's natural climate system, climate variations, climate impact processes, climate modeling, human impact on the climate and the climate impact on ecosystems, biodiversity and human living conditions, and how society can minimize negative climate impact. The purpose of the collaboration is to increase the understanding between research and business through workshops, lectures, conferences and meetings in, among other things, the Bolin Center's climate arena.
